Overview
The Jewish Community Center of Louisville, Kentucky is dedicated to offering quality programs, activities and services with an emphasis on Jewish culture, identity and values for people of all ages and backgrounds. The JCC is a non-profit social service organization committed to providing social, educational, fitness and wellness programs guided by Jewish values. The Louisville JCC has a long history, established in 1890 and has 2,636 family membership units (8296 individual members). Our facility includes a fitness center, indoor/outdoor pools, gym, dance studio and auditorium. The JCC provides a variety of services and amenities including an Early Childhood Learning Center, adult and senior adult programming, cultural arts programming and youth activities. Job Skills / Requirements
Aquatics Supervisors at the Jewish Community Center play a very important role to the Aquatics Staff.
Supervisors are responsible for:
-Setting and overseeing lifeguards and lifeguard rotation.
-Enforcement of all policies and procedures.
-Maintaining water chemistry of all pools.
-Cleaning of pools and pool areas.
-Providing customer service and responding to members questions.
-Setting the pool up for programming.
-Checking in of participants for aquatic programs.
Must have at least 1 year of experience as a lifeguard.
Must have pertinent lifeguard certifications.

Additional Information / Benefits
This is specifically for morning shifts each week. W open at 5:30 a.m. on the weekdays and 8 a.m. on the weekends.
This job reports to the Aquatics Director
This is a Part-Time position 1st Shift, 2nd Shift, School Hours, Weekends, Summers.
Relocation is not provided and travel is not required
