Overview

The Jewish Community of Louisville (Trager Family JCC) is a human service agency committed to enhancing the quality of family life and promoting the physical, intellectual and spiritual wellness of the individual. It provides health-related activities, cultural and educational programs that serve the community at large, including populations at risk. Membership and services are offered to the entire community. The JCC offers the following services: Health & Wellness; Senior Adult & Nutrition; Early Childhood, Youth & Camping; and Jewish Cultural & Performing Arts.

Job Skills / Requirements

Slide Attendant Responsibilities:

• Maintain order of slide uasage by forming and keeping a line for the slide.
• Be vigilant of users when using stairs to top of slide, when entering the slide and upon entering the water.
• Tell the next user when they are able to walk up slide stairs.
• Ensure last user exits the slide well immediately after entering the water.
• Assist swimmers to the side of the pool as needed.
• Alert lifeguards of any swimmer that may be in danger.
• Make certain each user is the minimum height to use the slide.
• Ensure each user is capable of independently swimming. 
• Communicate with members about rules of the slide and pool.
• Communicate with lifeguards about any issue or needs for the area.
• Keep area clean.

Must be at least 15 years of age.

Must be available to work weeknights and weekends.

Reports to the assistant aquatics director.

No certifications are needed.

Pay: $10 per hour.
