Job Skills / Requirements

Under the supervision of the Member Services and Engagement Director, the Trager Family JCC is looking for summer staff to provide members and guests with excellent and efficient customer service at our pool gate while upholding agency standards set forth to enhance the value of membership.

General Job Responsibilities:

  • Greet members with a smile and pleasant voice tone while giving each member his or her full, courteous attention.
  • Attendant is responsible for verifying a person’s membership and checking members in via scan-in or search in Member Database.
  • Handle cash and process Point of Sale (POS) transactions as needed - such as guest passes.
  • Enforce check-in rules and guest policies.
  • Keep a neat and organized desk and area.
  • Assist members with basic member questions such as hours of operation or guest policy.
  • Assist the check in process for Non-Members -such as swim team meets, Outside Maintenance, etc.
  • Communicate with supervisor and other departments regarding member inquiries or check in concerns.

Required Skills:

  • Friendly, personable, and welcoming demeanor.
  • Provide excellent customer service.
  • Punctual and reliable.
  • Excellent communication skills with supervisor and other departmental staff such as membership, member services, camp, and aquatics.
  • Comfortable using computer systems and navigating member database.
  • Able to work in an outdoor summer environment.

$12.50 per hour

Schedule and hours will vary based on staffing needs and availability.
