Job Skills / Requirements
Responsible for a variety of tasks involving patient specimens. Primary responsibilities include, but arent limited to:
Prioritize daily activities based on urgency of requests.
Identify patients while keeping all PHI secure.
Determine correct venipuncture method.
Obtain specimin using sterile technique.
Ensure Optimal quality of samples.
Label samples correctly
Keep accurate records of tests.
Adhere to all relevant health and safety standards while working.
