Job Skills / Requirements

 

Responsibilities 

  • Deliver prescription drugs to patient residences using a company vehicle 
  • Follow specified delivery routes and time schedule 
  • Load, unload, inspect and safely operate the delivery vehicle 
  • Coordinate paperwork and collect payments if required 
  • Review prescription deliveries with patients 
  • Provide good customer service at the point of delivery 
  • Manage Signature Capture Devices and keep them up to date 
  • Communicate patient concerns and medication issues to pharmacy staff 
  • Return to the pharmacy with proper co-pays and delivery signatures 
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and company policies and procedures 
  • Work in the pharmacy when not providing delivery services 
  • Provides outreach and enroll patients for delivery services 
  • Helps build a successful Prescription Delivery Program 

Qualifications 

  • Experience in the medical field required 
  • Experience as a pharmacy technician is preferred 
  • Proven working experience as a driver
  • Valid driver’s license 
  • Good driving record with no traffic violations 
  • Good computer skills and be technologically savvy 
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills 
  • Positive and professional attitude 
  • Strong customer service skills 
  • Clean and neat in personal appearance 
  • Spanish Language skills would be plus 
  • Have an entrepreneurial spirit and a high degree of initiative
