Job Skills / Requirements
Must have five plus years experience working with Medicaid/Medicare/Commercial Insurance. Experience discussing patient payment options, 1500s and UB04s claim forms experience.
Must have an Associate Degree in related field.
Must have knowledge of ICD10 and CPT coding guidelines.
Experience with preparing and submitting clean claims to various insurance companies either electronically or by paper.
Must have intermediate level computer skills including experience working with practice management systems, insurance company's web portals, and Microsoft applications.
Demonstrate initiative and self-management skills in fulfilling job duties.
**Experience in Passport and Medicaid**
Responsible for billing Medicaid/Passport, follow-ups, and collections on: government, commercial, private, & self-pay accounts: for services rendered by Park DuValle's Medical Providers.
