Position Summary:

  • Responsible for planning, directing, and managing the information technology capacity and related policy of PDCHC. Provides tactical and strategic guidance on security practices across organizational systems. Develops effective and efficient risk management strategies. Create and develops a robust tracking system for all PDCHC devices. Evaluates and applies data strategies to our daily operations to improve company development.

 

Primary Position Responsibilities:

  • Develops goals and strategies to ensure the IT department runs smoothly and effectively
  • Direct and establish IT related projects
  • Works directly with Division Directors to meet IT needs of the department
  • Monitors changes in the technology sector to discover new ways the company can improve and develop
  • Supervisor the networks and computer systems in the company to ensure optimal performance
  • Design, develop, and maintain systems, programs, software and applications
  • Administer the department’s budget
  • Collaborate with the Lead IT Specialist to identify visions for the IT department
  • Plan and direct the implementation of new IT systems
  • Share knowledge of IT system, applications, and projects with Lead IT Specialist
  • Participate in on-going training. Maintain knowledge of develops in the area of systems and hardware
  • Create reports to monitor metrics across the organization
  • Troubleshoot data related issues and establish regular maintenance
  • Create and adapt technological platforms to improve the client experience
  • Monitors anti-virus and provide weekly reports
  • Monitors and maintains system back up, providing weekly reports
  • Develops security policy and procedures
  • Oversees full badge system operations
  • Conducts penetration test; reports findings and closes gaps
  • Develop detailed system failure protocols
  • Maintain and understand IT security insurance
  • Monitor network and application performance to identify irregular activity, report findings
  • Develop and manage tracking system of all PDCHC devices
  • Implement and monitor security training program for end users
  • Track and report security metric operations; report at QI meetings
  • Perform regular audits to ensure security practices are compliant
  • Member of Risk Management
  • All other duties assigned

Required Experience/Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field
  • 10+ years experience in information technology and data management
  • 7+ years of management experience in an IT environment
  • Sound working knowledge of IT operations, systems, and developments
  • In-depth knowledge of data administration and management processes
  • Highly analytical mind-set with superb problem-solving skills
  • Good understanding of modern databases and information system technologies
  • Strong working knowledge and familiarity with security frameworks
  • Experience supporting PC hardware and software
  • Strong knowledge of security risk management standards
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Exhibits excellent customer service to assess needs and provide information and assistance
  • Identifies problems; determines accuracy and uses sound judgement to generate and evaluate alternatives and to make recommendations
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to sit/stand for long periods of time
  • Ability to lift 15 or more pounds
