Job Skills / Requirements
Pharmacy Manager **Acting Pharmacist-In-Charge**
Must have current Kentucky license. The pharmacy services prescriptions e-scripted/written in-house or from one of our 6 satellite branches. Pharmacists must be able to prepare and dispense drugs, use the computer, offer and be able to counsel patients when needed, help supervise pharmacy technicians, and help in the daily operations. Will receive 1 month of training at Wilson Ave. and Newburg before
- Create a positive and professional department image through strong service, personal appearance, conduct, friendliness and cooperativeness with customers, associates, and outside vendors.
- Fulfill customers' prescription needs while concentrating on the accuracy of every prescription filled.
- Provide patient counseling and pharmaceutical care to customers to include provision of all clinical activities.
- Comply with all local, state, and federal laws, including HIPPA, Fraud, Waster, and Abuse.
- Monitor inventory levels, scheduling, proper operation of all equipment and progress to budget goals.
- Insuring we are in compliance with the Kentucky Board of Pharmacy DEA, Medicare, and Medicaid policies for audit completions
- Insuring we are 340b compliant that will be outlined by Director of Pharmacy
- Responsible for full inventory management: ordering, drug returns, drug waste – tasks can be delegated
- Willingness to communicate with team members to assist adequate staffing and ensure coverage at our locations – possibility, but not required to travel to our other sites as needed for staffing shortages.
- Must be agreeable to vaccinate patient.
- Must be willing to work 1 Saturday per month as will be outline by pharmacist’s schedule from 9am-12noon
- Will be responsible for scheduling pharmacy technicians and create a weekend schedule rotation
** Must be licensed in the state of Kentucky**
