Job Skills / Requirements

Position Summary:

Responsibilities include preparing and processing all invoices (vendors, contractors, etc.) and employee expense reimbursements for payments.  Reviews vendors monthly statements, performs account reconciliations and assists with maintaining the general ledger.  Performs general accounting and other related duties.

Primary Position Responsibilities:

  • Verifies the accuracy of and tracks all account payable invoices and account receivable deposits.
  • Assigns accounting codes and confirms the correct general ledger were used.
  • Completes data entry of vendor information, customer and/or revenue deposits into accounting software system.
  • Reviews and processes employee expense reimbursements for payment.
  • Generates check runs, reconciles checks to invoices, and issues payments to vendors, contractors, and employees as approved.
  • Maintain accurate files for accounts payable, revenue, and taxes based upon appropriate state and federal record retention polices.
  • Reconcile accounts and assist in the closure of monthly books.
  • Investigates vendor and employee request regarding invoice or expense reimbursement discrepancies.
  • Reconciles bank accounts and verifies deposits.
  • Generates 1099 tax forms.
  • Assists with daily working fund preparation & reconciliation for clinics.
  • Assist with annual audit by gathering necessary account information and documents.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Education Requirements (Any)

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in HR Management
