Job Skills / Requirements

Position Summary:

  • Responsible for leading the day to day clinical functions under the direction of the Director of Nursing.
  • Med-Surge or Community Health experience 
Primary Position Responsibilities:

  1. Participating in the planning of policies and programs.
  2. Providing resolutions to patient complaints are the point of contact.Communicating issues/concerns to Director of Nursing.  
  3. Determining nursing staff needs via consultation with Director of Nursing.
  4. Training new clinical staff.
  5. Ensure department has the necessary supplies to provide effective patient care.
  6. Planning and assisting in general orientation of new staff to the Nursing Department.
  7. Planning and directing on-going education efforts for the Nursing Department within the assigned clinical area.
  8. Hands on patient care.
  9. Maintain time and attendance of nursing staff
Position Requirements:

  • Education: Current Nursing License to Practice in Kentucky
 

Education Requirements (Any)

Associate's degree in nursing

Certification Requirements (Any)

Graduate of accredited school of nursing

Additional Information / Benefits

Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm 

Rotating Tuesdays until 8pm 

Rotating Saturday 9-1
