Job Description
The Employment Services Coordinator assists in the overall function of the Employment Services department. Duties include, but are not limited to: 
Providing services to students in the school system, employment consultant supports, liaison for the Pre-ETS and Employment Services department. Working in conjunction with the Director of the program to ensure that operation and goals of the department are met, while ensuring satisfaction of the individuals served, funding sources and other stakeholders.  Hours may vary based on school hours, individual’s work schedules and community involvement activities. 
 
The Employment Services Coordinator ensures the Employment Services program is providing quality services to the program participants. Assists the Employment Services Director, Employment Consultants, and Career Coaches by coordinating daily, weekly, and monthly tasks. Provides assistance, input, and back-up supports to employment staff and the Director of Employment Services.

The Employment Services Coordinator:

  • Develops, implements, and evaluates participants’ Individual Plan goals, objectives, and action steps.
  • Provides Job Development, Job Coaching, Extended Services, Pre-Employment and Transition Services to program participants.
  • Assists in training new Employment Consultants and Career Coaches.
  • Assists in resource development including growing referral sources, cultivating relationships with local employers and community resources.
  • Completes billing, quarterly reports.
  • Provides back-up for quality assurance and fiscal reporting.
Education Requirements: High School Diploma or GED

Preferred Education: College Degree and/or Employment Specialist Training (EST) certification

Preferred Experience: 2 years of supported employment (Employment Consultant) and/or training experience. Some sales experience beneficial. Light supervisory experience helpful.
