Job Skills / Requirements
Pay Rate: $22.80 per hour
Spanish Bilingual Preferred (pass a test $1.00 more on the hour)
This position requires effective oral and written communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills, and intermediate computer literacy.
Assist the Agency in developing and maintaining appropriate CPT and ICD-10 coding as back up to Team Leader. Responsible for collecting, posting and managing account payments from medical billing. Responsible for submitting claims, working denials and following up with insurance companies and patients to ensure appropriate collection of medical claims. Responsible for maintaining Preventive Medicaid and Manage Care Organizations, and third-party organizations, revalidation and credentialing. Responsible for setting up and Maintaining Electronic Funds Transfer accounts with Medicaid.

Education Requirements (Any)
CCS: with two (2) years coding experience and AAPC or AHIMA coding certification required
Health Information associate degree with One (1) year experience required, RHIT preferred
High School Diploma/GED
