Job Summary: The paramedic works in the Emergency Department and/or UTC and is responsible for providing quality technical care to each patient under the supervision of an RN or the emergency department physician.

Requirements:
  

·    Graduate of an approved EMS-TEI 

·    Active Kentucky Paramedic license with 2 years of experience in EMS

·    Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification

·    NIHSS Certification within 3 months of hire

·    Appropriate staff development educations for ED

·    Works cooperatively communicates effectively

·    Follows oral and written instructions

·    Utilizes equipment appropriately in the clinical area
