Job Skills / Requirements

Job Summary:

The Network Analyst’s role is to support and maintain the stable operation of the in-house computer network, including desktops, servers and peripherals. This includes planning, designing, installing, configuring, repairing, maintaining and optimizing all network hardware, software for optimal performance. The analyst will also troubleshoot, diagnose and resolve hardware and software network problems in a timely and accurate fashion. The analyst will provide end user training and support where required.  The analyst will be responsible for all server updates and backup procedures on a daily/monthly basis and ensure the recovery of deleted data in the event of a disaster. 

Required Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+, Cisco CCNA, or Microsoft Certified
 
Required Skills and Experience:
  • Proficient in managing Office 365 environments, including user accounts, email, Teams, SharePoint, and collaboration tools.
  • Experience with security and compliance features within Office 365.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and best practices.
  • Experience with firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
  • Ability to assess vulnerabilities and implement security measures.
  • Expertise in installing, configuring, and maintaining Windows Server environments.
  • Experience with Active Directory, Group Policy, and DNS/DHCP management.
  • Familiarity with server virtualization technologies 
  • Proficiency in configuring and managing routers, switches, and wireless access points.
  • Experience with network monitoring and diagnostic tools.
  • Knowledge of network protocols and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Ability to manage and support EMR software, ensuring data integrity and security.
  • Knowledge of structured cabling systems and standards.
  • Experience with installation and maintenance of network cabling, including fiber optics and copper cabling.
  • Proficient in managing and securing endpoints, including desktops, laptops, and mobile devices.
  • Experience with endpoint management solutions.
