Job Skills / Requirements

As the Foundation Coordinator, you will be responsible for the development, coordination, fundraising, and planning for the Harrison Memorial Foundation. 
This position will have responsibilities for grant writing and submissions.
This role will work with key stakeholders to fund development activities, including the development of an annual fundraising plan; implementing fundraising events, grant identification and development; sponsorships; and the development and implementation of digital and direct mail campaigns.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Research to locate potential grant funding
  • Collaborate with stakeholders on the writing of grant proposals and cultivation of gifts 
  • Seek sponsorships
  • Point of contact for corporate sponsors, foundation, and support
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop a yearly calendar of fundraising events and campaigns
  • Monitor procedures for accurate record keeping for all aspects of fundraising
  • Other projects as assigned

REQUIRED EDUCATION, SKILLS, ABILITIES:   
  • Bachelors degree in related field preferred
  • 2-4 years experience in fundraising and events
  • Grant writing experience
