Job Skills / Requirements

The Oncology Clinic and Accreditation Coordinator will be responsible for the Cancer COC Committee and will report to the Specialty Clinics Nurse Manager. This position will provide nursing support to the oncology and infusion departments in addition to the coordinator responsibilities. Within Nursing Service, the RN assumes the accountability and responsibility as a professional and responsibility for providing total, comprehensive, continuous, and patient care. The professional nurse is prepared to assess the patient, develop a comprehensive nursing plan of care, implement aspects of nursing care to meet identified patient care outcomes, and evaluate the effectiveness of the nursing plan of care. Established nursing objectives, standards, policies, and procedures will be followed in administering nursing care

Certification Requirements (Any)

PALS preferred
ACLS
BLS

Additional Information / Benefits

REQUIRED EDUCATION, SKILLS, ABILITIES:
· ADN required; BSN preferred
· Active unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license to practice in Kentucky
· 2 years infusion/chemotherapy experience
. 5 year RN experience 
· Current BLS
· Current ACLS certification
· PALS certification preferred
