Job Skills / Requirements
- Provides guidance to co-workers in assessment, engineering skills, and problem solving, to new staff to facilitate orientation.
- Reviews and suggests inventory controls of supplies and on-hand site replacement parts to reduce overall costs.
- Monitors the HMH work order system for outstanding tasks.
- Ensures organizational compliance in fire and safety codes.
- Able to work within Maintenance, Building Automation software systems, and other systems or areas of competence.
- Creates and manages risk assessments.
- Can read schematics and utilize information to trouble shoot device or system.
- Documents the results of inspections, maintenance, and tests.
- Can perform repairs to individual device levels.
- Track and report status of projects.
- Facilitates the removal of snow, ice, and debris from Engineering controlled areas based on seasonality.
- Effective proactive communication with other departments about new or changing requirements and policies.
- Actively participates in cross functional teams.
- Demonstrates knowledge, skill, and attitude to use equipment effectively and safely.
REQUIRED EDUCATION, SKILLS, ABILITIES:
- High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
- Professional painting experience.
- Prior experience in hospital or industrial maintenance preferred.
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
- Must be familiar with operation of boilers, pumps, air handlers, and HVAC systems.
- Ability to manage multiple projects.
- Must have electrical knowledge-troubleshooting of basic electrical circuits preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 100 pounds.
- Requires visual acuity and manual dexterity.
- Ability to speak clearly and hear is necessary
- Able to frequently climb, bend, and stoop.

HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA OR EQUIVALENT

This is a Full-Time position Wed. 10pm - 6:30am, Thurs. 10pm, - 8:30am, Friday 10pm - 8:30am, Sat. 8:00pm - 8:30am .
Relocation is not provided and travel is not required
