Job Skills / Requirements

Works under the supervision of a charge nurse, provides fundamental care and services to support the patient, family and the unit environment. Uses good resolution skills to make sound decisions. Must be able to handle multiple tasks and set priorities. Under supervision performs clinical and various clerical duties. Cooperates with medical, nursing, and other hospital staff in providing care conducive to the fulfillment of total patient needs. REQUIRED EDUCATION, SKILLS, ABILITIES: 

• SRNA or EMT-B license required
• Active BLS certification required.
• Must be able to read, write, and comprehend medical terminology for the English language.
• Hospital experience or training program preferred.
• Ability to perform detailed assignments and work under stress.
• Works cooperatively, communicates effectively.
• Follows oral and written instructions.
• Familiar with patient care equipment appropriate to the clinical area.

Certification Requirements (All)

BLS
SRNA or EMT license required
