Job Summary/Purpose

The Manager of People Operations is responsible for the delivery of Human Resources services to the business and implementation of evidence-based strategies to improve outcomes for strategic priorities across employee relations, talent development, recruitment, employee engagement, learning and development, compensation management, and the oversite of the day-to-day operations of the department.

Essential Key Job Responsibilities

·         Responsible for developing processes and procedures for the activities of recruitment, and orientation of hospital employees to ensure adequate levels of staffing.

·         Interprets hospital policies and procedures, explains hospital benefits and ensures that each employee is properly processed by the completion of the necessary internal employment requirements

·         Creates and maintains a compensation strategy based on market research and pay surveys

·         Assists in the development of uniform employment policies necessary to achieve the objectives of the hospital, ensure maximum utilization and stability of personnel.

·         Confers with Department Heads and Supervisors to discuss improvement of working relationships and conditions

·         Initiates and maintains policies and procedures necessary to achieve objectives of the hospital and ensure maximum utilization and stability of personnel.

·         Prepares and/or completes surveys related to turnover, wages, benefits, morale, and other Human Resources considerations

·         Assists Department Heads and Supervisors in the preparation of job descriptions and specifications

·         Acts as employee liaison

·         Responsible for investigating any concerns and complaints and brings them to resolution per company policy and all regulatory requirements

·         Maintains the system of record keeping and ensures data integrity

·         Supervises Human Resources employees

·         Responsible for administration of all employee benefits programs, including retirement plans

·         Responsible for timely and accurate communication to employees as necessary

·         Maintains exit interview program

·         Administers Workers’ Compensation program.

·         Ensures compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations related to Human Resources

·         Follows ACA guidelines and maintains ACA compliance, including annual reporting

·         Assists in the preparation of Human Resources budgets.

·         Administers company performance review program

·         Other duties as assigned

Bachelor's degree
