Job Skills / Requirements

To assist customers with their financial transactions, involving paying and receiving cash and other negotiable instruments. Welcomes customers and provides information regarding products and services available. Directs customers to appropriate products for their needs. Balance cash drawer and transactions daily. The Teller is expected to cross-sell products and meet market driven goals. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills, a mathematical mind and able to multi-task.

Essential Functions

  • Receives and processes customer financial transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments; sells money orders and travelers checks to customers; transfers amounts from customer accounts as directed.
  • Posts transactions to customer accounts and maintains customer records.
  • Balances cash drawer and daily transactions.
  • Welcomes customer and provides routine information concerning services and directs customers to appropriate department for specific information and service.
  • Cross-sells bank services.
  • Performs a variety of miscellaneous tasks including typing, filing, computer input and answering the telephone.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Education Requirements (Any)

High School Diploma/GED


This job reports to the Market Operations Manager

This is a Part-Time position 1st Shift.

Relocation is not provided and travel is not required
