·         Safeguard students, staff, faculty assets, property, and reputation.

·         Conduct regular security rounds and post checks and monitor staff to ensure same.

·         Monitor all transmissions from the welcome center to appropriately vet all visitors, parents, students, contractors, vendors, faculty /staff and unauthorized persons attempting to gain access.

·         Act as a direct liaison between the school and local & state police departments for all emergencies/incidents.

·         Maintain control and accounting of all radio’s, keys, & security equipment daily.

·         Follow and enforce all post orders respective to the assignment and conform to the policies, procedures and the Standard Operating Procedures.

·         Monitor vehicle operation safety protocols and inspect for damage or needed repairs.

·         Ensure all access control, fire, life safety controls and CCTV systems are functioning daily.

·         Effective customer service skills with staff, faculty, visitors, parents, students is essential.

·         Must be able to lift to 40lbs and stand on your feet as needed.

·         Assist with parking and controlling vehicular traffic management daily.

·         Traffic Coordinator for afternoon dismissal for all students.

·         Receive, log and safeguard lost & found articles as required.

·         Assist in the management of all emergency drills (Fire, Internal/external lockdowns etc.)

·         Provide 24-hour protection for residents living on campus and their families.

·         Maintain Silvertrac phone system operation and security round monitoring.
