Sunstates Security is hiring a Shift Supervisor/Site Supervisor for a high-profile client in the Aurora, IL area. The Shift Supervisor/Site Supervisor is responsible for the daily functioning of a contract site including operations, customer service, personnel management, security & safety in accordance with Sunstates objectives. This candidate will oversee security operations for 1 site in the state of IL.
This position offers a salary range of $19.50-$23.50 (dependent on the level of experience) - along with a full package of industry-leading employee benefits that include full medical, dental, vision, and life insurance coverage, a 401k savings plan with company match, generous PTO, tuition assistance and more!
Requirements:
Valid PERC Card preferred
A minimum of 2 years of related management experience including security, law enforcement, or military is required
Demonstrated management proficiency
Must be comfortable using technology
Surveillance skills
Ability to analyze information and inform others
Great customer service skills
Experience with staffing, reporting, and schedule management
Ability to work additional hours and shifts as needed for emergencies and special event coverage
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Develop and implement security policies, protocols, and procedures
Recruit, train, and supervise security officers and guards
Constant daily communication with client and site personnel on all security-related matters
Plan and coordinate security operations for specific events
Coordinate staff when responding to emergencies and alarms
Review reports on incidents and breaches
Investigate and resolve issues
Adjusting work schedule to accommodate site-specific needs (I.E staffing shortages, incident reports, special events, etc.)
Education Requirements (Any)
High School diploma or equivalent
