Job Skills / Requirements

Sustates Security is hiring an Intelligence Analyst for a Physical Security position in downtown Raleigh.  The Intelligence Analyst is vital to our customer's global security team and monitors the North and Latin America regions for threats to their personnel, property, and brand.  This position is primarily in-office, Monday-Friday, with a limited work-from-home option and offers a salary of $65,000 annually. 

Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Effectively work as part of a global team to track and triage all implicit and explicit threats to customer personnel and property, escalating issues to appropriate teams when necessary and managing multiple tasks and projects with minimal supervision.
  • Conduct strategic and operational analysis of threats and risks, including global and regional conflicts, political and social unrest, organized crime, terrorism, non-state actors, rule of law, and economic stability.
  • Collect and analyze data from various sources, including open-source intelligence, proprietary databases, and other networks, to populate standard reports and updates.
  • Monitor, track, and communicate executive exposure relating to travel and events.
  • Articulate key findings extrapolated from sourced data and provided written assessments, formal report writing, and verbal briefings.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders and partners across multiple lines of business.
  • Monitor global and regional events and trends affecting customer operations, employees, reputations, and strategic interests.
  • Produce detailed intelligence reports, risk assessments, and briefings for senior management and stakeholders.
  • Develop partnerships with external agencies, industry groups, and relevant organizations.
  • Stay updated on the latest intelligence methodologies, tools, and technologies to enhance the effectiveness of the intelligence function.
  • Conduct forecasting and ‘over the horizon' intelligence analysis.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience of 4-6 years related to intelligence analysis (private or government), geopolitical risk, data analysis, or relevant experience in large and complex environments.
  • Knowledge and experience of OSINT & SOCINT tools and strategies.
  • Effective analytical judgment and ability to identify how geopolitics and international security concerns impact multinational corporations.
  • Able to build collaborative relationships internally/externally and establish credibility quickly.
  • Strong critical thinking skills. Interpret complex data and draw actionable insights.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to present information clearly and concisely to various audiences.
  • Proficiency in using intelligence tools and software, including data mining, open-source intelligence, and analytical platforms.
  • Experience creating combined intelligence analysis to provide impactful findings and a holistic understanding of threat issues.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-motivated and independent operator with the maturity to make decisions in the absence of detailed instructions and operate in dynamic settings.
  • High working proficiency with Slack, and Google productivity applications. 
  • Able to work an occasional flexible schedule as crisis response requires.
  • Strong ethical standards and commitment to maintaining confidentiality. 

An Intelligence Analyst may perform a multitude of duties as specified by the Post Orders and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). The Intelligence Analyst will read and become extremely knowledgeable of Post Orders and SOP, and will be able to act quickly and efficiently according to such directives. Sun123
