Sunstates Security is hiring a Security Account Manager for a high-profile client in the Aurora, IL area. The Account Manager is responsible for the daily functioning of a contract site including operations, customer service, personnel management, security & safety in accordance with Sunstates objectives.  This candidate will oversee security operations for 3 sites in the state of IL.

This position offers a salary range of $60,000 - $70,000 (dependent on the level of experience) - along with a full package of industry-leading employee benefits that include full medical, dental, vision, and life insurance coverage, a 401k savings plan with company match, generous PTO, tuition assistance and more! 

 
Although specific tasks and assignments may vary, the Support Manager role encompasses the following key responsibilities:

* Upholding and promoting a high standard of integrity, responsiveness, and quality of work among direct reports by consistently exemplifying these values.

* Overseeing the training and development of all field staff, including Security Officers, Shift Supervisors, and Site Supervisors. This includes ensuring a thorough understanding of site-specific procedures, company policies, and enforcing consistent adherence to these policies.

* Traveling to all four locations at least once a week to engage directly with security officers, free from distractions, to evaluate the current security program, provide additional training, or propose policy changes based on feedback.

* Collecting and analyzing client feedback to identify trends and opportunities for enhancing our security services. This role requires frequent on-site presence, engaging with site leadership and security personnel.

* Managing the process of issuing and returning uniforms and inventory management.

* Assisting with the recruitment and onboarding process, including interviewing, selecting candidates, conducting training, and handling licensure and new hire paperwork.

* Handling the day-to-day operational functions related to scheduling and payroll processes, which may include periodic communication or site visits outside of regular business hours or on weekends.

* Managing all aspects of Quality Assurance, including site visits and inspections.

* Coordinating closely with the Operations Manager to achieve organizational goals and objectives, which involves regular communication and collaboration with site-level leadership.

* Performing additional duties as required, given the dynamic nature of our business.

 Requirements:

* Valid PERC Card preferred.
* 2 years of management experience in security, law enforcement, or military is  required.
* Demonstrated management proficiency.
* Must be comfortable using technology.
* Surveillance skills.
* Ability to analyze information and inform others.
* Great customer service skills.
* Experience with staffing, tracking budget expenses, reporting, and schedule management.
* Ability to work additional hours and shifts as needed for emergencies and special event coverage.

High School diploma or equivalent
