Sunstates Security is currently hiring for Full-Time Badging Officer in the Downtown Charlotte, NC area. 1st d shift available! This position offers a pay rate of $24.96/hr - paid weekly.

The Badging Officer at this Location is a pivotal part of the Physical Security team, responsible for creating,

maintaining, and monitoring tools that bolster this Location's security program. Collaborating across various business lines, the analyst supports, sustains, and the organizations credential meets stringent security requirements. They also define and uphold processes and standards regarding credential replacement and creations. This role is ideal for early-career to mid-level professionals and reports to either a manager or senior analyst within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrated capability to learn and develop new techniques to help the team
  • Demonstrated a strong knowledge of access control systems along with good communication skills
  • A strong customer/client focus with ability to manage expectations appropriately and provide superior customer/client experience and build long-term relationships
  • Supports multiple business lines, implementation of processes, and ensuring the product meets this Location’s quality standards
  • Propose solutions to assist in reducing security vulnerabilities with credentials and improving response times
  • Demonstrates knowledge of latest procedures
  • Provides second and third level support to associates and security officers
  • Analyzes emails, requests from various tools such as access control, multiple mailboxes, and badge request forms.
  • Ensure all data entered access control is accurate and fields are standardized as required by policy and procedures.

Requirements:

  • 1+ year of experience in a security operation center or command center environment.
  • Associate degree in criminal justice, criminology, or relevant field of study preferred.
  • Hands-on experience in security systems, including access control, credential printing, and video software.
  • Ability to analyze large data sets for the purpose of identifying trends, and anomalies.
  • APP strongly preferred.
  • Computer skills sufficient to operate on-line systems and complex software often using multiple programs simultaneously.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and troubleshooting skills with a strong attention to detail.
  • Available to travel as needed by the business.
  • Individuals must be detailed oriented.

A Badging Officer may perform a multitude of duties as specified by the Post Orders and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). The Badging Officer will read and become extremely knowledgeable of Post Orders and SOP and will be able to act quickly and efficiently according to such directives.
