Position Summary

Trinity Safety Group is seeking a dedicated Loss Control Consultant (LCC) with at least 15 years of loss control experience to service our clients’ members. The LCC will maintain a consulting relationship with program members to build and implement loss control measures for reducing or eliminating risks of hazards. This is a 3-year project in the Chicagoland area. All members are located within 100 miles of Chicago.

Scope of Work:

  • Providing loss control services to 750+ general industry members. Services include:
    • Loss Analysis
    • Hazard Identification Surveys
    • Letters of Recommendation
    • Loss Control Material Development
    • Training Development and Facilitation
    • Hazard Consultation
    • CAT Participation
  • Conducting onsite inspections and visits to member sites
  • Generating a monthly member report to share with our client

Essential Duties:

  • Analyze member loss history to identify loss trends and hazard areas as a tool to improve member loss control program
  • Conduct member visits (in person and electronic) to complete assessments, surveys, and reviews of workplace safety and loss control, and create detailed letters of recommendation to members based on visit results
  • Generate member loss control materials, such as white papers, loss control guidelines, and risk reminders
  • Develop training sessions (in person, virtual, and on-demand) for general awareness, hazard recognition, regulatory compliance, etc. and facilitate training with member teams and coordinate simulator trainings
  • Participate on Crisis Assessment Team to advise and guide Claims Team and Member through investigation
  • Facilitate and lead committees for specific industries; expectation of 5 committee meetings a minimum of twice per year
  • Vet safety products and services for use by members
  • Represent our client at networking events and assist in program client relationship development
Requirements (non-negotiables): ex: certifications/degree 
10 - 15+ years of loss control experience in general industry, specifically performing sit visits, inspections, and surveys on behalf on an insurance company.
