Job Skills / Requirements

Full-Time 2nd Shift Floater/Janitorial

Location: Central Illinois – Champaign/Urbana Area
Pay Rate: $16/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 5:00 PM–1:30 AM (8-hour shifts)
(Some schedule flexibility may be required based on business needs)

ESS Clean is growing, and we’re looking for a reliable, motivated, and positive individual to join our team as a Full-Time 2nd Shift Floater/Janitorial.

This position plays a key role in maintaining clean, safe, and professional environments for both staff and visitors across multiple facilities in the Champaign/Urbana area. You’ll be part of a strong, expanding team, and we provide everything you need to succeed — including training, supplies, and a company vehicle for use during your shift.

What You'll Do

• Fill in for absent staff or open jobs, performing general cleaning tasks such as:
• • Dusting, wiping down, and disinfecting surfaces
  • Cleaning restrooms
  • Sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping floors
  • Emptying trash and recycling

Equipment You’ll Use

• Mop buckets and mops
• Upright and backpack vacuums
• Low and high-speed floor machines (buffers)

What We're Looking For

• Extremely reliable with a solid work history
• Able to work independently and manage time effectively
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
• Must pass criminal background check, drug/alcohol screening, MVR, employment history review, and a pre-employment physical
