  • Monday: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
  • Tuesday: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
  • Wednesday: 6:00 AM – 7:00 PM
  • Thursday: 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM
  • Friday: OFF
  • Saturday: 3:00 PM – 7:00 PM
  • Sunday: OFF

    ?? Pay Rate: $15.00/hour

United Protective Services is hiring a dependable and professional Dock Security Officer to help monitor and control dock access at one of our flagship properties. This position plays a vital role in vendor coordination, delivery management, and enforcing building protocols in a high-traffic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and control dock access for all deliveries, vendors, and contractors
  • Verify, log, and track incoming and outgoing shipments
  • Communicate effectively with property staff, tenants, and vendors
  • Enforce site rules and protocols professionally and consistently
  • Monitor surveillance (CCTV) and dock traffic in real time
  • Write clear, accurate reports and maintain digital logs
  • Prevent unauthorized access and report suspicious activity promptly
  • Provide professional customer service to all site visitors and staff
  • Follow post orders and emergency procedures as trained


What We’re Looking For:

  • Prior security or dock experience preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written)
  • Able to stand for extended periods and manage a busy dock environment
  • Tech-savvy and able to use mobile reporting tools and access systems
  • Calm, respectful, and professional demeanor at all times
  • Willing to complete all required training and certifications
