Overnight Security Officer – Corporate High-Rise Building Rover

Monday – Friday | 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM

We are seeking a professional, dependable Security Officer to serve as a Building Rover for a Class A corporate high-rise office building.

This position is responsible for conducting interior and exterior patrols of the building, monitoring security systems, and maintaining a visible security presence during overnight hours.

Professional corporate security environment – business attire and high standards expected.

This role is ideal for officers who are reliable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently in a professional office building environment.

Schedule

Monday – Friday10:00 PM – 6:00 AM (Overnight Shift)

Consistent attendance and punctuality are essential for this position.

Pay

$16.00 – $16.50 per hour

Compensation is based on experience, reliability, and overall performance.

Position Overview

The Building Rover is responsible for maintaining security presence throughout the property by conducting routine patrols of the building, parking areas, and common spaces. Officers are expected to remain vigilant and report any safety concerns or unusual activity.

This position requires a high level of professionalism, situational awareness, and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct routine patrols throughout the building and surrounding property• Monitor access points and ensure building security procedures are followed• Observe and report suspicious activity or safety concerns• Monitor CCTV and building security systems• Respond to alarms or incidents as needed• Complete patrol logs and incident reports• Maintain professional appearance and conduct at all times

Minimum Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of professional security experience (required)• Experience working in commercial or corporate environments preferred• Active Level II or Level III security license (per state law) • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation• Strong communication and observation skills• Ability to work independently during overnight hours• Dependable and punctual work ethic
