United Protective Services is currently recruiting for a retail security officer working at a large property in Oklahoma City.

Schedule 

Saturday/Sunday 12AM-8pm

Wednesday/Thursday 4pm-Midnight

32 hours

Pay: $17.00  

Your Normal Day Duties: 

• Completing reports based off the observation, monitoring, and witnessing of any potential security, safety violations, or maintenance emergencies.
• Maintaining and securing client's property by monitoring, patrolling, and conducting different equipment control checks throughout shifts while on duty.
• Handling the equipment in and around property carefully and confirming the site equipment is operational and hazard-free right when the shift starts and right when the shift ends.
• Conducting mobile patrols using a company truck to secure perimeter of the property.
• Responding to emergencies.
• Assisting visitors.
• Assisting with opening the property by picking up barricades, putting out umbrellas, and turning on fire pits if needed.
• Assisting with closing the property by locking the restrooms and securing the food court. Security Officers will also be in charge of placing barricades in certain parts of the property.
• Dealing with the public and on some occasions requesting someone will leave the property.

Successful Officers in this Role: 

• The candidate we select for this position must have strong customer service skills.
• Candidates once hired will be working with the general public giving directions to stores, parking areas, and areas to eat around the property.
• Possess strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Exercise good judgement and maintain situational awareness.
• Possess baseline problem-solving skills.
• Champion a team-first mentality; when everyone is doing their tasks, it makes it that much easier to complete all the tasks.
