Pay: $17.00/hour (after training) Hours: 35–45 hours per week Schedule: Flexible / Multi-Shift (1 consistent day unavailable per week)

Position Overview

United Protective Services is hiring a flexible and dependable Multi-Site Security Officer to support operations across multiple client locations in the Houston area.

This role plays a key part in maintaining coverage by assisting with open shifts, call-offs, and special assignments. If you prefer variety, steady hours, and growth opportunities, this position offers a strong career path in security operations.

What You’ll Do

• Provide coverage at various client sites based on operational needs
• Perform a range of security duties, including:
• • Access control and entry screening
  • Foot and vehicle patrols
  • CCTV and camera monitoring
  • Customer service and tenant interaction
• Complete accurate and timely incident and activity reports
• Adjust quickly to different site expectations, post orders, and environments
• Support supervisors and management with day-to-day operational needs

Schedule & Availability

• Must be available up to 6 days per week
• One weekday set may be selected as unavailable
• Shifts may include day, evening, and overnight schedules
• Flexibility is required to meet business and client demands

Requirements

• Minimum age: 25 years old (required for insurance eligibility)
• Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record
• Must have reliable personal transportation
• Ability to operate company vehicles and/or golf carts when needed
• Prior security experience is preferred but not required
• Strong communication and report-writing skills
• Professional appearance and ability to work independently

Pay & Advancement

• $17.00/hour after training completion
• Full-time hours with consistent scheduling opportunities
• Clear path for advancement into roles such as:
• • Field Training Officer (FTO)
  • Field Supervisor
• Ongoing training and leadership development provided
