Position Overview
United Protective Services is seeking a motivated, professional, and dependable Field Training Officer / Supervisor to join our growing San Antonio team. This leadership role is responsible for training, mentoring, and supporting security officers in the field while ensuring all client sites maintain the highest standards of professionalism, customer service, and security operations.
The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, problem solver, and team leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about developing officers and maintaining operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct on-site training for newly hired security officers
- Ensure officers understand and follow post orders, company policies, and client expectations
- Perform routine field inspections and quality assurance checks at assigned properties
- Provide coaching, mentorship, and corrective guidance to security personnel
- Respond to incidents, emergencies, and client concerns as needed
- Assist with scheduling coverage and staffing support when necessary
- Complete detailed reports regarding inspections, incidents, and officer performance
- Maintain professional relationships with clients, property management teams, and tenants
- Support branch leadership with operational needs and special projects
- Ensure all officers maintain proper appearance, professionalism, and readiness
Qualifications
- Previous security supervisory or management experience preferred
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to train, motivate, and develop team members
- Professional appearance and customer service mindset
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel between properties
- Flexible schedule, including availability for evenings, weekends, and emergency response situations
- Valid Texas Driver License with clean driving record
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions under pressure
- Proficient with report writing and basic computer skills
Preferred Experience
- Commercial real estate security experience
- Access control and CCTV knowledge
- Experience conducting field training or onboarding
- Familiarity with incident response procedures and client relations

This is a Full-Time position 2nd Shift, 3rd Shift.
Travel is not required
