Security Badge Administrator – Westchase | Houston, TX 77042
$18.40/Hour | Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM–5:00 PM | Weekends Off
United Protective Services is seeking a professional, organized, and customer-service-focused Security Badge Administrator to manage daily badge and access-control operations for commercial property.
The ideal candidate has administrative experience, badging, strong communication skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
- Issue, modify, renew, replace, and deactivate security badges.
- Assign the appropriate badge type and access level.
- Verify identification and authorization documents.
- Maintain accurate badge and access-control records.
- Monitor badge expirations and process renewals.
- Operate badge printers, scanners, cameras, and related equipment.
- Assist employees, tenants, contractors, visitors, and vendors with badge requests.
- Troubleshoot routine badge and access-control issues.
- Report access discrepancies and security concerns.
- Maintain confidentiality of personal and security-related information.
- Coordinate with Security, Facilities, and Property Management.
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or GED.
- 1–3 years of administrative, clerical, or data-entry experience.
- Typing speed of 45–50 WPM with accuracy.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Security badge, credentialing, or access-control experience preferred.
