Job Skills / Requirements
The Fire Watch Officer's primary duty is to continuously monitor the property for fire hazards, promptly identify and report unsafe conditions, maintain required patrols and documentation, and initiate the site's emergency notification procedures when a fire or potential fire is discovered.
- Remain awake and alert at all times.
- Maintain professional appearance and conduct.
- Remain in the assigned fire-watch area.
- Follow all site-specific post orders.
- Never leave the property without authorization or proper relief.
- Never disable, silence, or interfere with fire-protection systems unless specifically authorized by qualified personnel.
- Never falsify patrols, reports, or fire-watch logs.
Qualifications
- Reliable and punctual with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to remain alert during overnight hours.
- Professional communication and customer-service skills.
- Ability to work independently and accurately complete required documentation.
- Valid security license/credentials as required by applicable law.
- Prior security or fire-watch experience preferred.

10pm-6am Saturday
10pm-6am Sunday
10pm-6am Wednesday
10pm-6am Thursday
10pm-6am Friday
