$15.84/Hour | Monday–Friday |11:00 PM - 07:00 AM High-Rise Commercial Properties

United Protective Services is seeking a Overnight Security Shift Supervisor to help lead daily security operations at a high-rise commercial property in Houston.

We're looking for a supervisor who leads by example, knows how to train and develop officers, and holds the team accountable while maintaining a high level of professionalism. This position requires strong communication, sound judgment, and the ability to work effectively with clients, tenants, visitors, employees, and emergency personnel.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise security officers and ensure proper post coverage.
  • Provide direction, coaching, and support throughout the shift.
  • Train and mentor officers on post orders, procedures, and client expectations.
  • Conduct shift briefings, post inspections, and performance follow-ups.
  • Conduct and monitor patrols of primary access points, officer activity, incidents, and property conditions.
  • Respond to security incidents, emergencies, and client concerns.
  • Ensure officers follow company policies, post orders, and established procedures.
  • Review and complete daily activity and incident reports.
  • Maintain strong communication with management, clients, and security personnel.
  • Address performance and conduct issues professionally.
  • Promote teamwork, accountability, and consistent service standards.

What We're Looking For

  • Previous security supervisory experience required.
  • High-rise or commercial security experience preferred.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to train, coach, and mentor security officers.
  • Professional and customer-focused approach.
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to remain calm and professional during emergencies.
  • Strong attention to detail and follow-through.
  • Ability to understand and enforce post orders and security procedures.
  • Strong written documentation and report-writing skills.
