Flex Security Officer – San Antonio | $16.00/Hour

Location: San Antonio, TX 78228 and surrounding San Antonio properties

Pay Rate: $16.00 per hour

Schedule: Variable; as-needed coverage

We are seeking dependable, professional Security Officers to provide coverage at multiple properties throughout San Antonio. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working in different environments, provides excellent customer service, and can adapt to changing assignments.

Scheduling and Availability

Schedules vary each week based on staffing and operational needs. This is an as-needed position with no fixed weekly schedule. Assignments may include the following shifts:

• Saturday: 3:00 PM–11:00 PM
• Sunday: 6:00 AM–6:00 PM
• Monday: 7:00 AM–3:00 PM
• Tuesday: 3:00 PM–11:00 PM
• Wednesday: 11:00 PM–7:00 AM Thursday
• Thursday: 7:00 AM–3:00 PM
• Friday: 7:00 AM–3:00 PM

Applicants should be comfortable working varying shifts and locations. Overtime opportunities may be available depending on coverage needs.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine patrols on foot and/or by golf cart.
• Maintain a visible, professional presence to help deter trespassing, theft, and other unauthorized activity.
• Monitor assigned properties and report suspicious activity or safety concerns.
• Enforce property rules and follow site-specific procedures.
• Provide courteous assistance to tenants, residents, visitors, and vendors.
• Respond to incidents and notify management or emergency services as appropriate.
• Complete accurate, timely daily activity reports and incident documentation.

Preferred Experience

• Security experience in office buildings, commercial properties, or Class A environments.
• Familiarity with access control systems or visitor management software.
• Military or law enforcement experience is a plus.

Work Environment

Assignments include indoor and outdoor duties and may require prolonged standing, walking, and exposure to varying weather conditions.
