Security Officer (Garage & Lobby) – High-End High Rise Property

Job Overview

We are seeking a professional and experienced Security Officer to support operations at a high-end, high-profile property in Houston. This is one of our premier accounts and requires a candidate who can maintain exceptional standards of professionalism at all times.

This position combines garage patrol responsibilities during the day with lobby/front desk coverage overnight. The ideal candidate is adaptable, detail-oriented, and confident in both customer-facing and patrol-based environments.

Professionalism in communication, appearance, and conduct is non-negotiable for this role.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct routine patrols of the parking garage, monitoring for safety hazards and suspicious activity
• Maintain a visible and professional presence throughout the property
• Provide lobby/front desk coverage during overnight shifts
• Greet and assist tenants, visitors, and vendors in a professional manner
• Monitor and control access to the building and garage areas
• Respond promptly to incidents, emergencies, and service requests
• Enforce site policies, procedures, and property rules consistently
• Complete accurate daily activity reports and incident documentation
• Communicate effectively with property management, tenants, and team members

Minimum Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of professional security experience (commercial, high-rise, or similar preferred)
• Must live within 20 miles of ZIP code 77079
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license
• Reliable transportation
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
• Ability to stand, walk, and remain alert for extended periods

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in high-rise, Class A, or luxury property security
• Experience with access control systems and report writing software
• Strong customer service and conflict resolution skills
• Military or law enforcement background is a plus
