FIELD TRAINING OFFICER / FIELD SUPERVISOR

United Protective Services | Houston, TX

$18.50/hour | Saturday – Wednesday | 2:00 PM – 10:00 PMCompany Vehicle Provided for Field Duties

TAKE THE NEXT STEP IN SECURITY LEADERSHIP

United Protective Services is seeking an experienced security professional to join our team as a Field Training Officer / Field Supervisor.

You will travel between assigned Houston locations to inspect security operations, train and coach officers, address performance concerns, assist with staffing issues, and communicate directly with operations leadership.

We are looking for a dependable security leader who can work independently, make sound decisions, and hold officers accountable without constant direction.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Conduct scheduled and unscheduled inspections of security posts.
• Evaluate officer attendance, appearance, professionalism, and performance.
• Ensure compliance with post orders, company policies, and client requirements.
• Train and coach new and existing security officers.
• Provide corrective guidance and document performance concerns.
• Respond to officer call-offs and assist with post coverage.
• Communicate staffing and operational issues to management.
• Assist with employee concerns, investigations, and other field assignments.
• Support overall security operations across assigned locations.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 2+ years of security experience required.
• Security supervisory, field training, site supervision, or lead officer experience strongly preferred.
• Valid driver's license and clean motor vehicle record.
• Must be at least 25 years old due to company vehicle insurance requirements.
• Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Professional appearance and dependable work ethic.
• Ability to train, coach, and hold employees accountable.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple locations.
• Flexibility to respond to operational needs when required.
