Now Hiring Immediately – Full-Time Security Officer (Overnight – High-Rise Building)

Set Schedule (40 Hours Weekly):

• Saturday: 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM
• Sunday: 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM
• Monday: 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM
• Tuesday: 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM
• Friday: 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM

Off Days: Wednesday & Thursday

Pay Rate: $16.00 – $16.50/hour (based on experience)

We are seeking a professional, dependable Full-Time Overnight Security Officer to provide security coverage at a Class A commercial high-rise building in the Memorial City area (77024). This position combines roving patrol and front desk/reception responsibilities, requiring strong customer service skills, professionalism, and the ability to multitask in a corporate environment.

Position Overview

The Security Officer will support overnight building operations through lobby/reception coverage, interior patrols, access control monitoring, and observation of building activity. The ideal candidate must be reliable, attentive, and capable of working independently while maintaining a professional presence.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide front desk/reception coverage, including greeting tenants and visitors
• Conduct routine interior patrols of the building and common areas
• Monitor building access points, security cameras, and visitor activity
• Identify and report safety hazards, maintenance concerns, and suspicious activity
• Provide professional customer service and assistance when needed
• Respond appropriately to incidents, emergencies, or disturbances
• Accurately document patrols, incidents, and daily activities using security reporting software
• Maintain a clean, professional appearance consistent with a corporate environment

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of security experience (corporate, concierge, or customer-facing experience preferred)
• Active Texas Level II or Level III security license
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Must reside within 15–20 miles or approximately 20 minutes of ZIP code 77024
• Strong communication, customer service, and situational awareness skills
• Professional demeanor and appearance required
• Comfortable working independently during overnight hours
• Ability to conduct routine foot patrols throughout a commercial high-rise building
• Dependable attendance and ability to consistently work the assigned schedule
