Job Skills / Requirements

Seasonal Position- April to October
Saturdays and Wednesdays
5pm-10pm
$17/hour


Duties and Responsibilities

  • Monitoring and controlling access at entrances and exits to prevent unauthorized entry.
  • Ensuring orderly movement of attendees, preventing overcrowding, and managing crowd behavior.
  • Using cameras and other equipment to monitor the venue for any suspicious activities.
  • Being prepared to respond quickly and calmly to emergencies, such as medical incidents or security threats.
  • Conduct regular patrols of the venue to detect and address potential security issues.
  • Working with law enforcement and other emergency services to ensure a coordinated response to incidents.
  • Always look professional in a clean and pressed uniform. 
  • Informs and ensures compliance of SEI and Clients policies, such as smoking, loitering, parking violations, etc. 
  • Must be customer service oriented, greeting attendees with a smile and making people feel welcome and safe.
Skills and Qualifications

  • Observation Skills: Keen attention to detail to identify potential threats.
  • Communication: Clear and effective communication with team members and attendees.
  • Physical Fitness: Ability to stand for long periods and respond quickly to incidents.
  • Problem-Solving: Quick thinking and decision-making in high-stress situations.
  • Training: Knowledge of security protocols and emergency procedures.
Tools and Equipment

  • Metal Detectors: For screening attendees at entry points.
  • Surveillance Cameras: To monitor the venue.
  • Radios: For communication among security staff.
  • First Aid Kits: To provide immediate medical assistance if needed.

Education Requirements (Any)

High School Diploma or equivalent

Certification Requirements (Any)

Able to obtain any & all security certifications/licenses
CPR/First Aid/AED
Tennessee Unarmed Security License
