Candidates must be willing to travel to Marysville, Everett, and Lynnwood, for work. 

*Successful candidates will need to complete a 5 day paid training course in Renton

Pay rate: $25.36/hour

Average hours per week: 40

Shifts are generally 8 hours and 12 hours long

Schedule availabilty:

  • Full time, Friday through Monday, 3rd shift (overnight)
  • Full time, Tuesday through Friday, 3rd shift (overnight)
  • Full time, Wednesday through Saturday, 3rd shift (overnight)
  • Full time, Friday through Monday, 1st shift (mornings)

You will be a great fit if you

  • Are at least 21 years of age
  • Have a minimum of 2 years' Security or Military experience
  • Have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Are able to provide proof of High School diploma, GED or higher education.
  • Possess a valid Washington State Security License
  • Have effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Enjoy working with the public and providing excellent customer service

*Please note, successful candidates must complete a mandatory 5-day paid training course in Renton.

* If you do not have a Washington State Security License, you will be responsible for paying the fees to obtain one. The 2024 SGL costs are $31.05 for fingerprints and $101.00 for the License application. There is also an unpaid mandatory State SGL class that you will be required to complete.

What you will do

  • Walk and stand for prolonged periods of time
  • Wear body armor, duty belt with handcuffs, baton, radio, flashlight, and first aid kit
  • Work outdoors in all weather conditions
  • Engage in high volume face to face public interactions
  • Write detailed and accurate reports outlining any incidents that occur at your location
  • Maintain a physical presence, serving as a visible deterrent to illegal activity to include but not limited to interacting with transients to deter them from setting up shelters, from panhandling, and from sleeping in unauthorized areas.
  • Ensure the continual safety and security of site staff and visitors
  • Provide an empathetic approach to managing any escalated persons and situations, utilizing verbal deeseclation skills when required
  • Positively contribute to the overall experience and atmosphere by providing superior customer care to anyone you interact with
