Custodial Supervisor | Livonia

Monday through Friday | 3:30 PM to 12:00 AM

$17 - $18 per hour

We are seeking an experienced and dependable Custodial Supervisor to lead a small cleaning team at a modern automotive technology and engineering facility in Livonia near the I-96 and Levan Road corridor.

This is a hands-on leadership role. The supervisor will work alongside the team each shift while helping train employees, monitor quality, maintain cleaning standards, and support daily operations throughout the facility.

The ideal candidate is someone who leads by example, communicates professionally, and takes pride in maintaining a clean, organized, and high-quality workplace environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support a small team of custodial employees
• Perform daily janitorial and custodial duties alongside the team
• Train employees on cleaning procedures, quality expectations, and safety practices
• Monitor work quality and help maintain consistent cleaning standards
• Assist with shift coordination and daily task assignments
• Support proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment
• Maintain a clean, professional, and organized facility environment

Requirements

• Previous janitorial or custodial experience required
• Previous supervisor or team lead experience required
• Reliable attendance and strong communication skills
• Ability to work independently and lead a team effectively
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift
• Comfortable working in a professional office and technology environment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work
