Janitorial Supervisor

Monday–Friday | 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM

Are you a hands-on leader who takes pride in maintaining clean, safe, and well-organized facilities? Saber Building Services is looking for a Janitorial Supervisor to lead evening cleaning operations and help ensure high standards of cleanliness, safety, and service throughout the facility.

This role is ideal for someone who can lead by example, support and train staff, and step in to perform cleaning duties alongside the team when needed. If you are dependable, organized, and confident managing both people and daily cleaning operations, we’d love to hear from you.

What You’ll Do

• Supervise, train, and support janitorial staff during the evening shift
• Perform hands-on cleaning duties alongside team members as needed
• Ensure work is completed to company standards for cleanliness, hygiene, maintenance, and overall appearance
• Conduct regular inspections of assigned areas and provide coaching and feedback to staff
• Monitor daily performance and help maintain productivity and quality standards
• Use cleaning equipment such as an auto scrubber and backpack vacuum on a regular basis
• Ensure cleaning equipment and supplies are used properly and kept in good working condition
• Address cleanliness, service, or maintenance concerns promptly and professionally
• Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering and restocking cleaning supplies and equipment
• Help maintain compliance with health, safety, and environmental procedures
• Support a clean, safe, and professional environment for building occupants and visitors
• Perform other duties as assigned

What You Bring

• Prior janitorial, custodial, or facility cleaning experience
• Previous supervisory or team lead experience preferred
• Working knowledge of cleaning methods, equipment, chemicals, and safety practices
• Strong leadership, organization, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently while also supporting a team
• Reliability, professionalism, and attention to detail

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and carry cleaning supplies and equipment
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and kneel for extended periods
• Ability to perform active cleaning work throughout the shift
• Ability to work in environments with dust, cleaning chemicals, and other routine janitorial conditions

Additional Information

• This position may occasionally require weekend and/or holiday work depending on facility needs
• The role includes both supervisory responsibilities and active, hands-on cleaning support
