Weekend Custodian | Canton

Saturdays: 5:00 AM - 9:00 AM | Sundays: 4:30 AM - 8:30 AM

$16 per hour

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Weekend Custodian to support cleaning operations at a public theater and community arts facility in the Canton area near the Cherry Hill Village corridor.

This is an all-clean custodial position responsible for completing a full range of janitorial duties throughout the facility. The ideal candidate is reliable, thorough, and comfortable helping maintain a clean, welcoming, and professional environment for guests, performers, staff, and visitors.

Responsibilities

• Perform full janitorial and custodial cleaning throughout the facility
• Clean lobbies, entrances, hallways, seating areas, common areas, and shared spaces
• Clean and restock restrooms and facility supplies
• Vacuum carpets, rugs, seating areas, and shared spaces
• Sweep, mop, and maintain hard surface floors
• Dust surfaces and maintain overall facility appearance
• Remove trash and replace liners throughout the building
• Respond to cleaning needs related to events, performances, and weekend building use
• Follow cleaning procedures and safety guidelines
• Report facility concerns, supply needs, or maintenance issues to management

Requirements

• Previous janitorial or custodial experience preferred
• Reliable weekend availability required
• Ability to work early morning shifts on Saturday and Sunday
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work
• Ability to work independently and complete a full cleaning routine
• Comfortable cleaning a public-facing theater, event, or community facility
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and move throughout the shift
• Dependable attendance and strong work ethic
