Custodian | Canton

Monday - Friday | 6:00 pm - 10:00 pm

$15-$16 per hour

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Custodian to support evening cleaning operations at a busy healthcare and urgent care facility in the Canton area near the Ford Road and Canton Center corridor.

This position is focused on floor care and general custodial support within an active medical office environment. The ideal candidate is reliable, thorough, and comfortable working in a healthcare setting where cleanliness, safety, and attention to detail are important.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine janitorial and custodial duties throughout healthcare and medical office areas
• Mop and maintain hard surface floors throughout assigned areas
• Vacuum and sweep floors and prepare surfaces for mopping as needed
• Support floor cleanliness in entrances, hallways, workspaces, and shared areas
• Follow cleaning procedures, sanitation standards, and safety guidelines
• Report facility concerns, supply needs, or maintenance issues to management
• Help maintain a clean, safe, and professional healthcare environment for patients, visitors, and staff

Requirements

• Previous janitorial, custodial, or floor care experience preferred
• Comfortable working in a healthcare, urgent care, or medical office environment
• Ability to wear and operate a backpack vacuum
• Reliable attendance and dependable work ethic
• Ability to work independently and stay on task
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and move throughout the shift
• Comfortable performing repetitive mopping and floor care duties during the shift
