Job Skills / Requirements
Qualified candidates must perform a variety of fire, life and safety functions as it pertains to Local Law 5 and Local Law 26.
Must conduct fire drills, evacuations and related activities such as organizing, training and supervising a fire brigade. Implement the building's Fire Safety Plan in the event of an emergency.
Acting as a liaison between building personnel and the NYFD in the event of an emergency.
Directing the evacuation of occupants as provided for in the fire safety EAP plan.
Assisting al emergency personnel entering the building on official business and reporting details to the Property Manager, Account Manager and Kent Office ASAP.
Supervising and training the Fire Brigade, FS/EAP Warden, Deputy FS/EAP Warden and Building Evacuation Supervisors.
Maintain records and logs as required by the New York City Fire Code.
Demostrate the ability to make clear and audible public address announcements.
Education Requirements (Any)
High School Diploma or GED
Certification Requirements (Any)
NYS Security Guard License
F-89
Fire Safety Director License
EAP Certification
Active Shooter Certification

Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Command of the English language.
F-89 Certificate of Fitness for Fire Life and Safety Director.
