Job Skills / Requirements
KRC is accepting applications for experienced Unarmed Security Officers to monitor Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) and record live camera coverage for the Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) at the District Currency Facility (DCF) in Washington, DC. There are no specific training certifications or licenses required under this contract.
Must be able to commit to a 2 week on the job training, once cleared to work!
Duties/Responsibility
Unarmed Security Officers shall perform all tasks in accordance with the duties outlined within the Post Orders and the Performance Work Statement. Duties include but are not limited to:
- Review recorded video for areas that have been identified as critical areas
- Expediently retrieve any video data kept in storage as needed
- Duplicate video data in multiple media format, as needed
- Provide special monitoring and recording for investigations, special events, and/or projects
- Advise proper authority of potentially hazardous conditions
- Search and retrieve video data of incidents or events from previous recordings
- Generate, prepare, and analyze reports related to monitoring the CCTV Sub-System
- Provide quality assurance reviews and preventative maintenance checks for recorded video
- Exchange all video data supporting Digital Video Recording Systems libraries
- Maintain all video with adequate controls for inventory and storage using available tools and equipment such as bar code scanners, labeling machines, or signage on shelves
Qualifications
- Shall fluently speak, read, comprehend, and compose coherent written reports in English. Must be able to pass an English Language Assessment Test.
- Graduate of an accredited high school or Certificate of Completion of General Education Development (GED) requirements
- Non-Sensitive, Tier 4 High Risk Level Security Clearance (Public Trust)
- Ideal candidate must meet one of the following experience requirements:
- Three (3) years of security experience within the past five (5) years
- Three (3) years civilian or military work experience
- Strong Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook aptitude is desired
- Must have experience with CCTV
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills

This is a Full and Part-Time position 1st Shift, 2nd Shift, 3rd Shift, Weekends.
