Job Skills / Requirements

The Program Manager serves as the senior leader accountable for the overall success of the contract portfolio. This role is responsible for ensuring that all contracts are executed in full compliance with the Statement of Work (SOW), government directives, company policies and procedures, applicable laws and regulations, and relevant Collective Bargaining Agreements (CBA). The Program Manager may also act as the primary liaison with the Contracting Officer and the Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR).

Responsibilities

Qualified candidates must be able to demonstrate adequate management and leadership experience in the following areas of responsibility.  

  • Providing management oversight to a specific contract or contract portfolio in all aspects of security operations and administration.
  • Ensuring compliance with all operational and administrative requirements in Statements of Work (SOW) with little to no supervision.
  • Ensuring all company and client deliverables are completed correctly and on time. 
  • Serving as the company representative regarding client relations, labor relations, and assisting with various aspects of employee relations (in conjunction the Human Resources Department).
  • Actively supporting the company mission, vision, and values by demonstrating all corporate guiding principles, which include transparency, trust, results-oriented, accountability, and integrity.
  • Using a variety of metrics and reporting tools to measure and document operational and financial key performance indicators and directs all required actions to ensure all performance metrics are acceptable and/or improving.
  • Continually reinforce and encourage exemplary service delivery to the client and ensure that all direct and indirect reports do the same, to assure client satisfaction and retention.
  • Conduct all business with the highest of ethical and professional standards.
  • Maintain confidentiality of all information and data.
  • Keep records and prepare accurate and timely feedback/ reports as required.
  • Set an example as a leader with a management style that encourages participation and ownership by all, along with a continuous focus on execution, customer satisfaction, employee satisfaction and financial management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business/public administration or related field, with preferred emphasis in security and/or operations management.
  • Project Management Certifications (PMP, CPP, PSP, etc.).
  • At least 7 years of progressively responsible experience successfully leading on-site teams providing physical security services direct to clients and/or stakeholders; including all aspects of security operations and administration.
  • Competencies include being results driven, possessing the ability to manage conflict effectively, adaptability and agility.
  • Must possess valid driver's license and be able to travel regionally, nationally, and overnight as needed.
  • Graduated from a certified federal, state, local, or military law enforcement training academy (proof of certification required) or graduated from a Federal or State corrections academy, (exclusive of the District of Columbia, (DC), which included firearms training and qualification to carry firearms.
