LACOSTA is looking for a Floor Technician to join our team in Geismar LA!  
***We conduct a background check and drug testing***

Job Skills / Requirements

Job Schedule: Monday-Friday, 40hrs/week (Full Time)
  • 1st Shift: 7:00AM –3:30PM 
Pay Rate: Paid weekly (every Friday)
  • $17 /hr
Job Duties:Maintaining an outstanding appearance to all floors (hard wood and carpet) throughout the facility 
  • Floor Care
    • Stripping
    • Buffing
    • Waxing
    • Sweeping/Mopping
    • Carpet spot removal
  • Use of machines and hand tools
  • Need to be able to lift and move very heavy floor equipment
Requirements:
  • Must have at least 4-6 years of stripping and waxing floors. Carpet cleaning experience is a plus. 
  • Must be knowledgeable of all floor care aspects to the point of being able to train someone else. 
  • Pass background check and drug screening 
  • Comply with all safety rules, policies, and procedures.
  • Knowledge of cleaning methods and equipment, as well as safe use of cleaning chemicals. 
  • Must be comfortable wearing PPE: LACOSTA shirt, steel-toed shoes, safety glasses, ear plugs, gloves, and long pants.  
  • Must remove all jewelry and accessories.
