Job Skills / Requirements

The staff at Summit Facility Solutions are responsible for all aspects of facilities maintenance, most notably, commercial cleaning! Our cleaners sanitize and organize all areas of our client space, and manage professional relationships with our clients.

We are actively seeking a full-time operations manager (2pm-Midnight) to oversee our staff and manage our accounts.

Responsibilities (including but not limited to)

Employee Facing

• Management of Indeed careers account to source new candidates
• Participate in the process of recruitment and retention, training, supervision, and development of staff.
• Perform job-based training of new candidates in the field
• Supervise assigned cleaning staff as well as provide on-site support and leadership.
• Collect timekeeping records and consolidate and submit weekly payroll
• Manage call outs / replacing of staff
• Send before/after pictures of work to clients/management

Customer Facing

• Perform quality assurance reporting to ensure scopes of work are being carried out
• Interface with customers regularly to obtain feedback and carry out results
• Oversee all account inventory and order supplies as needed
• Perform new account walkthrough's and interface with potentials customers

Utility Work

• Perform floor work (VCT Waxing/Buffing, Carpet Shampooing, etc)
• Lead Deep Cleans and Post Construction Projects
• Light Handyman Project Work

Vehicle

• Responsible to operate a RAM ProMaster Cargo Van to/from NYC
• The vehicle is your responsibility and is taken home with you each day

Location

• New York City and Long Island and part of NJ

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED strongly preferred
• Available to work during evening operating hours
• 3+ year of cleaning supervisor experience preferred
• Ability to work in an isolated environment with minimal supervision
• Physical requirements include: walking and standing during the entire shift (often 4-8 hours), climbing stairs, kneeling to clean floors, pushing and pulling objects, lifting and moving objects (up to 50 lbs), repetitive bending and lifting, and repetitive arm movement
